Our workshops were listed in The Times in August 2023 as one of The 21 best things to do in the UK when it rains
We are honoured to have been selected by Annie Sloan to be one of her Flagship Stores in recognition that we are experts in Annie Sloan paint & techniques and run regular workshops so you can learn to paint the Annie Sloan way.
Our workshops are run in the studio at the back of the shop and allow you to learn how to get the best from Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in a relaxed, fun environment with plenty of time for questions, laughter, tips and advice. They are a great opportunity to sample the Annie Sloan paints, brushes and waxes.
Places are limited to six people per workshop … and the added bonus of a super small class … perfect for asking questions and sharing tips and advice! Small class sizes also mean they get booked up quickly … give us a call to secure your place.
You will receive a 10% discount on Annie Sloan products on the day of your workshop.

Essential Techniques
Our most popular workshop. This hands-on workshop will give you the skills and confidence to transform your furniture.
It is an ideal introductory workshop suitable for beginners and those who have a little experience. During the workshop you will learn the following:
- Creating a textured finish;
- Two-colour distressing;
- Colour mixing – you will learn how to extend the Annie Sloan colour palette to create an unlimited number of colours;
- Smooth modern finish;
- How and when to use the different Annie Sloan Waxes and Lacquer;
- Tips and tricks for achieving a professional finish.
These are the techniques which are going to take your pieces of furniture to the next level and give you the confidence to do more than painting a piece in one flat colour. £85 per person

Decorative Techniques
Building on the new skills acquired on the introductory Essential Techniques workshop you will learn a number of further decorative techniques including:
- Gilding with metal leaf
- Stencilling
- Ombre and colour blending.

Full Day workshop
Learn to paint the Annie Sloan Way AND Decorative Techniques
Unleash your creativity and spend a whole day learning how to get the best from Annie Sloan Products. £160 per person

Moodboard workshop
Learn how to decorate confidently with colour!
Do you feel overwhelmed with all the choices on offer and decisions to make when decorating your home? Or have you just got a little bit lost along the way? Then this is just the ticket! You will create your very own take-away moodboard, filled with the colours and patterns that you love, ready to translate into interiors schemes that make your home sing.

Make a lampshade
Our lampshade making workshop is perfect for a creative treat or chance to meet up with friends and make something beautiful for your home.
Bring your own fabric to make a 30cm drum shade suitable for a lamp base or ceiling light.

Paint a pot for someone special
Join us for some creative playtime! Paint a happy design on a terracotta pot to gift to someone special … or bring that special someone along with you to join the fun too! Perfect Easter or Mother’s Day gift … or of course just because you want to lose yourself creating something beautiful.

Use my studio to paint
If you’ve been on one of my workshops and fancy having me on hand for guidance with your first small project, you can come use my studio, my paints and my tools.
Your piece of furniture should be small enough for you to carry on your own … something like a bedside table is perfect!
£75 for 3 hours … which should be long enough to complete your project. £25 per hour thereafter.
