Making a purchase from the Westcott & Williams website is easy. Browse at your leisure and add our lovely items into your shopping basket. 

We try to describe items as accurately as possible. Please be aware that colours may look different on a screen, and if you are buying paint, we recommend using an Annie Sloan Colour Card for a true representation.

Ordering

Shopping with Westcott & Williams is simple. Browse our products, add your chosen items to your basket and proceed through checkout.

We take great care to ensure that product descriptions, images and prices are accurate. However, colours may appear differently depending on your screen settings.

When purchasing Annie Sloan products, we recommend using an official Annie Sloan Colour Card for the most accurate colour representation.

All orders are subject to availability.

Delivery

Standard Delivery

Delivery is charged at £5.95 per order regardless of the number of items purchased.

We currently deliver to addresses within Mainland UK only.

Orders placed before 2:00pm are usually dispatched on the same working day, although this cannot always be guaranteed during busy periods.

We use trusted delivery partners including Royal Mail and UPS wherever possible.

Please ensure that your delivery address is entered correctly when placing your order. Westcott & Williams cannot be held responsible for orders that are delayed, lost, or delivered incorrectly due to inaccurate address information supplied at checkout.

Furniture & Mirrors

Due to their size and fragility, furniture and mirrors are available for collection from our Dorking shop only unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance.

Returns & Refunds

We want you to be delighted with your purchase.

If you wish to return an item, please contact us by email within 14 days of receiving your order.

Returned items must:

  • Be unused and in their original condition

  • Be returned in their original packaging where possible

  • Be accompanied by proof of purchase

Unless the item is faulty, damaged or supplied incorrectly, customers are responsible for return postage costs.

Refunds will be processed once returned goods have been received and inspected.

This policy does not affect your statutory consumer rights.

Damaged or Faulty Items

If your order arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible so we can resolve the issue promptly.

Where appropriate, we may request photographs of the item and packaging to assist with the claims process.

Workshops

Workshop places must be booked in advance and are subject to availability.

If you are unable to attend a workshop, please contact us as soon as possible. Transfer or refund options may be available depending on the notice provided and the circumstances involved.

Specific workshop terms may apply and will be communicated at the time of booking.

Workshop Cancellation Policy

Workshop places are limited and are reserved specifically for each attendee at the time of booking.

If you are unable to attend a workshop, please contact us as soon as possible.

More Than 14 Days Before The Workshop

Bookings may be transferred to an alternative workshop date, subject to availability.

Less Than 14 Days Before The Workshop

Unfortunately, workshop fees are non-refundable and non-transferable, as it is often difficult to fill places at short notice.

Exceptional Circumstances

We understand that unexpected situations can arise. In exceptional circumstances, we may, at our discretion, offer a transfer to a future workshop date.

Cancellation By Westcott & Williams

In the unlikely event that Westcott & Williams needs to cancel or reschedule a workshop, attendees will be offered either:

  • A full refund, or

  • A transfer to an alternative workshop date

We recommend booking early as workshop places are limited and many sessions fill quickly.

Privacy

Westcott & Williams respects your privacy.

We only use customer information for the purposes of processing orders, providing customer service and communicating with you where appropriate.

We do not sell, rent or share personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

Payment information is processed securely by our payment providers, and we do not store credit card details on our systems.
