Where are you located?
You can find us at 41 West St, Dorking RH4 1BU in the beautiful Antiques Quarter of Dorking. We are open seven days a week, rain or shine. Come and visit us to find Annie Sloan Chalk Paint™ and products, or if you’re looking to join one of our fun and informative regular workshops so you can learn to paint the Annie Sloan way. And if wielding a paint brush isn’t your thing, we can paint your furniture for you. We also carry a lovely selection of goodies to decorate your home to your heart’s content.
How do I get to your beautiful shop?
Whether you’re local or coming from further afield, we are so easy to get to! Dorking has got great links for travel by car, bus, bicycle or on foot!
How do you use Chalk Paint®?
As a rule of thumb, one litre of Chalk Paint® covers aproximately 13 square metres, or the equivalent of a small Welsh dresser.
For most purposes, one coat of paint is enough. Chalk Paint® adheres to almost any surface, and there is rarely any need to sand or prime before painting.
To get started, give the pot a good stir. If you feel the paint is too thick just add a little water and stir. For the best results, we recommend using a good quality paintbrush like the Chalk Paint® Brushes to apply the paint.
You can paint Chalk Paint® over Chalk Paint® Wax.

Wait, aren’t you Annie Sloan?
I’m also called Annie and it always makes me chuckle when people ask if I’m Annie Sloan. I’m not … but I’m proud to say she taught me how to paint and perhaps even more importantly, she taught me how to teach you how to paint!
