How to apply Annie Sloan Lacquer
Allow your Chalk Paint to dry thoroughly before applying Annie Sloan Lacquer. Stir the lacquer gently before use and apply thin, even coats using a good-quality synthetic brush or short-pile roller. Avoid overworking the product, allowing each coat to dry fully before applying the next.
For most projects, two thin coats provide excellent protection. On surfaces that receive particularly heavy wear, such as kitchen cabinets, dining tables and worktops, additional coats may be beneficial. As with all protective finishes, the lacquer will continue to cure after application, becoming increasingly durable over the following days.
